art

have you ever gone down a street, and wondered how the buildings you see before you were created?  most of the time these buildings are just a person's dreams coming to life, and more times than not, these buildings long outlast the people who dreamed them up.  when the buildings get to be a certain age, they become historical buildings and are protected by state and federal governments.

Not very many people can walk down a street in their town and look for specific things that make a building historical.  These things include stone archways, dated mosaic windows, and even a completely wooden frame, amongst many other things.

Most people think that the only historical buildings are in Greece,  Rome,  and England, but that is a common misconception.  Historical buildings can be normal buildings in normal towns, not just the leaning tower of Pisa,  the eiffel tower, or buckingham palace.  It could be your town hall, your library, and even a house just down the road.  Next time you're in such a building, allow yourself to think or imagine the history of where you are.
